About My Story
Hi Loves! I'm Steph!
Thanks for checking out my work! if you're wondering where my love for photography began, keep reading.
Well, long story, short- I have always had a camera in hand. I remember my mom giving me my first camera when I was about 3 years old. It was a periwinkle 35mm that I took everywhere with me even if it didn't have film. I have ALWAYS wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic. The thought of traveling and taking pictures of animals was a childhood dream.
As I got older I loved the work Anne Geddes produced and wished I could photograph babies like that. It wasn't until my oldest son was born and left this earth in the same day that I realized exactly how important photography is. I have one picture of him. Just ONE and I will, forever, cherish that picture. Pictures of our loved ones are a way preserve those special moments; a way to remember the laughs, the tears. They are our way of stepping back in time and reliving those moments we want to forever remember.
I don't take pictures; I capture memories and turn them into art.
